The trip to Sabah was initiated some three months ago dictated as much by the necessity to get favourable Air Asia tickets price. Hence the saga that follows. The cheap fair avilable for the dates of travel is from Penang so we just booked it. Not much thought was given to the need to get to Penang for the flight as opposed to taking a direct flight to KK from KL.
